Rare Photo of Airport that Continental Army Took Over During Revolutionary War!

I’m sure you have all heard our President thanking the Continental Army for taking over the airports during the Revolutionary War.
There seems to be something off with this statement.
The Continental Army was established in 1775 to help the 13 colonies and their military efforts during and after the Revolutionary War. They disbanded after a few decent albums in 1783.
The Revolutionary War was from 1775 to 1783. After the war the Continental Army was the nucleus for the Legion of the United States which became the foundation of the US Army.
The first airplane, however, was not officially discovered until 1903. The worlds first airport was created in 1920.
To blame the teleprompters on this bad information really means that the person reading it is a moron. My bet is he doesn't even know what the Continental Army stands for in the first place.
At least you get to enjoy this rare photo of the first airport took over by the Continental Army.
